The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique and proven system of exercises developed to preserve and promote the integrity of the spine.
In these classes we begin with the relationship of the head, neck and back. Moving from a place of psycho-physical unity. The focus of these classes is to bring about psycho-physical equilibrium within the use and functioning of the self. So while there may be great emphasis placed on the relation of the head, neck and back, we are not compartmentalizing this “unit” of the body. Time is taken to work through the mind and body connection consciously. Bringing ease of motion with strength, power and overall breathing coordination. Encouraging sustainable practices that you can integrate into your daily activities in a way that promotes continued balance and overall body coordination.
